The email with your tickets might have been moved to your spam or junk mail folder. If you use Gmail, messages like this are often placed in a special folder for advertisements or spam.
There might be a typing error, e.g., in your email address. Please contact us via email info@chsa.org or phone 415-391-1188, ext.109. We will then correct the mistake and resend the tickets.

Up to 24 hours before the date and time of your scheduled visit, we will be pleased to help you find an alternative time to visit.
You can print out your tickets, but you do not have to. You can also present the QR code assigned to your ticket purchase on a mobile device in order to check in at the museum entrance.
Yes, when you purchase a membership, you will receive a physical membership card.
For a Three Year Membership, there will also be a special collector’s edition three-year membership card.
Please note that membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.
If you lose your membership card, you can request a replacement, but a $10 replacement fee will apply.
Members of CHSA will receive free admission at all other museums participating in ROAM and NARM.
You must present your EBT or Medi-Cal card at the front desk for free entry to the museum.

By SF MUNI bus: Eastbound 1-California buses stop at Clay and Powell Streets. Westbound 1-California buses stop at Sacramento and Powell Streets. Both Northbound and Southbound 30-Stockton buses stop on Stockton between Sacramento and Clay Streets.
By Cable car: Stop at the intersection of Clay and Powell Streets.
By MUNI Metro T-line (red): Stop at the Rose Pak/Chinatown station.
The museum does not have a parking garage or designated spaces.
There is limited metered street parking along Clay Street. Nearby parking garages are: Portsmouth Square Plaza Garage on Kearny Street between Clay and Washington Streets or St. Mary’s Square Garage at Grant Avenue and California Streets. All parking requires fees.
Non-commercial photography is always allowed in our collection galleries, as long as the camera’s flash is turned off. Any photography, filming, or recording intended for publication in television or film or on radio must be approved by the Marketing Department.
Our coat check is currently closed. Any personal items you bring with you to the museum, you should feel comfortable carrying for the duration of your visit, including coats, purses, and backpacks. Luggage is allowed for a visit to the museum store, but unfortunately cannot be taken into art galleries.
Yes. The museum allows re-entry with your original ticket.
Please fill out the volunteer form on CHSA’s website. This form will allow you to express what type of volunteer opportunities you are looking for. You will be contacted by the Education Coordinator to guide you through the next step of the volunteer process.

All Lost and Found items will be kept at the front desk for 60 days. If they are not claimed, they will be disposed of.
