A Collection of Pagodas: 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco

The exhibition catalog includes a rare and unusual collection of 84 models of Chinese pagodas exhibited at the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition, based on famous pagodas extant in China around the turn of the twentieth century. After storage of 100 years, this collection reappears in public in 2015, as part of a city-wide celebration of the Centennial of the Panama Pacific Exposition.
